Refund & Cancellation Policy
We use a fair, milestone-based policy so customers know what happens before and after work begins.
Effective August 24, 2026
Before work begins
If you cancel before ProperSite begins project work, we refund amounts paid to us, less any nonrefundable third-party purchase you approved and any clearly disclosed payment-processing charge we cannot recover.
After work begins
Once research, writing, design, setup, or development begins, ProperSite may keep the portion reasonably earned for completed work. The written proposal may identify a deposit or milestone as nonrefundable after that stage begins.
After a draft, approval, or launch
After the first custom draft is delivered, the initial project payment is normally nonrefundable. After final approval, file transfer, domain connection, or launch, completed work is not refundable. We will correct work that does not match the approved written scope.
If ProperSite cannot finish
If we cancel an accepted project for reasons not caused by the customer, we refund the unearned portion for work not completed. Approved third-party purchases remain subject to the provider’s rules.
Customer delays and abandoned projects
If required content, files, feedback, access, or payment is late, the schedule pauses. After 30 days without a response, we may close the project and require a new schedule or reactivation fee. Closing a delayed project does not refund work already completed.
Optional monthly care
Care plans renew only when the customer clearly chooses renewal. Manual renewal is the default. A customer may cancel future care before the next term begins. Cancellation stops future billing but does not normally refund a month or term already started.
How to cancel
Email hello@propersitewebco.com with the business name and project. We confirm cancellation in writing and explain any completed work, remaining balance, access, or files.
